Trays are secured with concealed clips and finished with separate folded roll cap clipped over the standing panel edges. Roll Seam is formed in the same manner as Roll Cap except with a roll seamed cap which give and extra shadow line which emphasizes the line of the cap. Both systems are suitable for wall cladding and roofs with a pitch not less than 3˚.

Key Advantages

Traditional System widely used throughout the world.

Economical

The use of profiling and seaming machines for the closure of the longitudinal seam joints significantly reduces installation time. This reduction makes for a more cost-effective solution, particularly when considering large surface areas. Roll Cap install is also made much more economical as you easily stop and start where you need to and change panels/trays if need be.

Greater Structural Stability

As with all fully supported systems, there is a requirement for a plywood substrate which not only ensures an extra durable roof or wall but also provides extra lateral bracing for the building as a whole.

Thermal Expansion

Roll Cap System allows for thermal expansion in the panel joints and clips.

Acoustics and Thermal Benefits

Less noise transfer from the outside, less heat will escape in the winter and less heat will penetrate into the building in the summer.

Safety

Safety hooks can be installed easily without compromising the roofing system allowing for easy access when maintenance is required.  Plywood substrate makes for an earthquake resistant building.

Versatile

Available in both Roll Cap and Roll Seam profiles. These systems are suitable for roofs with a pitch not less than 3˚, and may also be installed as a wall cladding system. Roll Cap and Roll Seam are suited to all surface aspects including Zinc, Copper, Stainless Steel, colour coated Aluminium.

Sustainable

The Roll Cap profile lends itself to easy to the installation of solar panels. Classic Metal™ draws on traditional craftsmanship to create more robust systems which are built to last 50-100 years and require minimal maintenance. Many of the material options are able to be recycled or produced from up to 100% recycled material.
